Routines

Work that happens while you sleep.

Put any task on a schedule: a morning briefing, a site check, a weekly report. The mate runs it on its own computer, in your timezone, and tells you how it went.

Any schedule

Every hour, every weekday at 09:00, Fridays at 17:00, or your own cron. Daylight saving handled for you.

Same chat, same memory

Each run is a message in your chat with the mate, so it remembers last week's report and picks up where it left off.

Told when it matters

An email after every run, or only when something fails. Every run has a replay, and a red dot when it didn't go to plan.

Questions people ask

What if the computer is asleep when it's time?

It wakes up on its own, does the run, and goes back to sleep after 15 quiet minutes. You only pay for the minutes it was awake.

Can a routine send email or publish things?

Yes. A run is a normal task with the same tools as a chat. Emails still follow the mate's approval rule, so mail to someone new waits for you even at 3 in the morning.

What happens if I run out of allowance?

The run is skipped with a note in the chat and the routine stays on. It starts again when the month resets or you raise the limit from Usage.

Can I turn a chat message into a routine?

Yes. Hover any message you sent and pick Repeat on a schedule. The new routine opens with the text and the mate already filled in.

Your first mate starts in two minutes.
