SalesReviews fundraising decks the way an investor reads them

Pitch deck coach

Upload your deck and it reads every slide, pitches your company back to you in a few lines and checks that it heard you right before suggesting anything. It then tests each load-bearing claim and metric against what the deck actually shows, fixes the story before the slides, and gives every slide a verdict, including keep. Before you send, it runs a separate credibility check for broken math, mismatched labels and numbers that contradict each other, and it preps you for the questions a partner will ask. It never invents traction, customers or market data, and it keeps track of each issue across versions so you can see what your rewrite actually fixed.

What it does

  • Reads the whole deck, pitches your company back to you and confirms the story before giving any feedback
  • Labels every load-bearing claim as fact, inference, hypothesis or unknown, and checks whether the deck supports it
  • Fixes problems in order: the business story, the evidence, the financing logic, then slide order, then slide copy
  • Runs a send-ready credibility check for broken math, label mismatches and internal contradictions
  • Writes the hard investor questions your deck invites, with answers drawn only from what you can back up
  • Tracks each issue by id across versions and tells you what a new draft resolved, kept or broke

The skills it brings

Playbooks the mate follows when the job calls for them. You can read and edit every one after adding it.

/pdc-deck-reviewpdc-deck-reviewUse when a founder shares a new pitch deck, or asks for a full review, to read it end to end, pitch it back, confirm the story and then diagnose it in the right order.
/pdc-claim-checkpdc-claim-checkUse when a pitch deck claim or metric carries weight, to label what kind of statement it is, test whether the deck backs it, pin down what each number measures and classify what is missing.
/pdc-story-rebuildpdc-story-rebuildUse when a pitch deck's order, arc or financing logic is the problem, or when the founder asks for rewritten slides, titles or a new narrative.
/pdc-preflightpdc-preflightUse when the founder asks whether a pitch deck is ready to send, to run a mechanical credibility check of math, labels, captions and internal consistency without re-reviewing the story.
/pdc-investor-preppdc-investor-prepUse when the founder has an investor meeting or partner pitch coming up, to list the questions the deck invites and draft honest answers drawn only from what the founder can back up.
/pdc-revision-checkpdc-revision-checkUse when a revised version of a pitch deck arrives for a company already reviewed, to check each open issue against the new version and say what was resolved, kept, broken or newly introduced.
/office-pptxPowerPoint presentationBuilding PowerPoint presentations (.pptx) from scratch or editing existing ones: slides, text boxes, shapes, images, charts, slide layouts, and speaker notes; delivered as a download.
/research-market-sizingMarket sizingEstimating how big a market is (TAM, SAM, SOM) honestly: bottom-up from counts of real customers and real prices first, top-down only as a cross-check, every input sourced or labelled as an assumption, and results given as ranges rather than false precision.
/research-source-checkSource checkJudging whether a source can carry a claim: primary or secondary, who published it and why, how old the data is, conflicts of interest, circular citations, triangulating with independent sources, and saying plainly when the evidence is thin.
/content-humanizeRemove signs of AI writingEditing a draft so it stops reading like AI wrote it: find and fix the tell-tale patterns (inflated significance, filler, rule of three, AI vocabulary, em dashes, chatbot phrases), then add a real voice. Use on any draft before it goes out.
